SOVA NATALIIA goes from Instagram DMs to a 24/7 storefront

Designer clothing brand by Nataliia Sova — handmade pieces, custom tailoring, traditional soul. Orders used to run through Instagram DMs and a Telegram, with no way for shoppers to browse or check out on their own. We built her first online store: a bilingual (EN + UA) storefront with catalog, variants, WayForPay checkout, and a self-service admin. The result: sub-second page loads, Google Shopping-ready from day one, hosted for around ten dollars a month.

The challenge

SOVA NATALIIA is a designer clothing brand by Nataliia Sova: handmade pieces, custom tailoring, and modern silhouettes with traditional Ukrainian roots. The brand had a loyal following on Instagram and a Telegram bot for orders, but no store of its own.

That set-up had a ceiling:

  • Nothing to browse. Followers saw whatever appeared in the feed. There was no place to see the full collection, compare pieces, or check which sizes and colors were available.
  • Every sale was a conversation. Sizes, colors, shipping, and payment were settled one message at a time. Orders arrived while Nataliia was sewing, and each one interrupted the work.
  • Invisible to search. Instagram posts do not rank in Google, and they cannot appear in Google Shopping. Shoppers searching for the brand by name found nothing to buy.
  • Two audiences. Customers in Ukraine and customers abroad needed the same store in Ukrainian and English, with the right currency and shipping options for each.
  • No budget for overhead. A small brand cannot carry a platform fee per month plus a developer for every product update.

What we built

Over eight weeks we designed and built the brand's first online store, from catalog to checkout to admin.

  • Catalog and product pages. Categories, filters, and product cards that switch language with the page. Each product page shows every color, size, and photo angle, with structured data so Google can list it in Shopping results.
  • Variants done properly. Stock, price, and photos are tracked per color and size, so a sold-out combination disappears instead of producing a disappointed customer.
  • Mobile-first design. Most shoppers arrive from an Instagram link on a phone. The gallery, variant picker, and add-to-cart button sit within thumb reach.
  • WayForPay checkout. A three-step checkout with Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cards, with no account required. Payment confirmation triggers the order email automatically.
  • Bilingual from day one. Ukrainian and English versions with locale-aware routing, hreflang tags, and a sitemap, so each language ranks in the market it serves.
  • Self-service admin. Nataliia adds a new piece with photos, colors, sizes, and price in about five minutes. No developer is needed for a new collection.

The store is server-rendered and cached on CloudFront edge locations, which is why pages load in under a second for shoppers in the EU and hosting costs about ten dollars a month.

The store was indexed by Google on launch day and every product page is eligible for Google Shopping. For the first time the brand has a direct sales channel that is open 24 hours a day, while Instagram and Telegram go back to being what they are good at: showing the work and talking to customers.

Just as important for a small brand, the running costs stay flat. There is no monthly platform fee, no per-transaction markup beyond the payment provider, and no developer on retainer for content changes. If you sell through social media and want a store that ranks and runs itself, see what a store like this costs or get in touch.
